Being
crowned RAC Contractor of the Year is a prestigious
accolade, the peak of excellence in an integral
relationship that keeps RAC members on the move.
To become Contractor of the Year, you need to deliver |
| |
exceptional
service at the roadside, deliver an impeccable
customer experience
and be consistent in being passionate about RAC.
Guise Motors, pictured here
collected their special glass trophy, was named
winner, much to their surprise.
“
Wow, what a wonderful surprise that was,” said
Colin Searle, of Guise Motors.
“
I had absolutely no idea that we had even been
nominated for the regional,
let alone the national! It seems very fitting that
it should come some 3 weeks
before my 40th anniversary here at the Halt garage,
as you may well remember,
we last won the award back in 1995 which nicely
marked our 25th, I wonder |
what our 50th will
bring, should we be fortunate enough to last that
long.” Continuing, Colin said, “I would
like
to personally thank you and everyone from RAC for
your kindness, and for making the 29th one of the
most
memorable days of my career for me and all my team
here at Guise Motors. We will display the awards
with
pride, and I can assure you of our ongoing commitment
to RAC.” |

We are
accredited with PAS 43
(Publicly Available Specification).
The accreditation is published by
the British Standards Institution,
sponsored by the Government,
the Police Service, Motoring
Service Organisations and
the Motoring Industry. PAS 43,
audited by BSI, aims to improve
the safety of recovery operator's,
their employees and customers
in breakdown/recovery situations. |
Guise
Motors obtained ISO 9001
(then BS5750) in 1994. We are
proud to have been the one of the
first vehicle recovery operators to
achieve this standard, particularly
as our accreditation was with BSI.
The scope of the accreditation
covers both the recovery aspect
of our business and our vehicle
repair workshops. |
In 2000
we were awarded with
Investors in People.We were only
the second recovery operator in
the UK to achieve this. We have
seen many benefits from embracing
the IiP culture including continuous
professional development of our
staff team resulting in higher staff
retention and importantly improved
customer service. |
